No extension cords. No 14AWG on 50A breakers. Real code.

Load calculation & panel assessment — We verify if your 100A/200A panel can handle 40-60A continuous load per NEC 625.

Dedicated copper circuit — 6AWG / 4AWG THHN in conduit or NM-B where allowed, correct breaker sizing (125% rule).

Charger options — Tesla Universal Wall Connector, ChargePoint Home Flex, Emporia, Enel X, hardwired or NEMA 14-50 with GFCI per 2023 NEC.

Placement & cable management — Stud-mounted, height optimized, cable holder, bollard for garage if needed.

Load management — Emporia Vue, Wallbox Power Sharing, or panel upgrade if needed.

Permit, inspection & app setup — We pair charger to app, test charging, leave you with 30+ miles/hour.

We Size It Right

Two contractors quoted 40A breaker on 8AWG for 48A charger (fire hazard). We caught it. We follow NEC 625.41: continuous load = 125% breaker & wire.

Do I need a panel upgrade for EV?

Sometimes. If load calc >80% of service, we recommend 200A upgrade or load management system. We give both options with pricing.

How fast will it charge?

40A circuit (32A charging): ~25 mi/hr. 60A circuit (48A charging): ~37 mi/hr. Depends on car. We size for your daily miles, not max spec.

Yes — we do multi-unit, workplace, fleet depots nationwide. Load sharing, 277/480V, pedestal mounts, networked billing.
